Ensembles Night was truly amazing! 🎶 Gryphon, Jazz Band, and Expressions lit up the stage and showed off all they’ve accomplished this year. So much talent and hard work on display! 💜🖤

The last day of school was one for the books! 🎉 Filled with laughter, memories, tons of pictures, and even inflatables. 💜

A night to remember! 🎓 8th Grade Honors Night celebrated our students’ achievements in academics, attendance, music, and athletics. We’re so proud of all our 8th graders and everything they’ve accomplished. 💜🖤

🦅 Last week, incoming 6th graders visited McGovern and got a warm welcome from our amazing WEB leaders. They enjoyed performances from our ensemble groups and toured the school to get a sneak peek at life as an Eagle. 💜🖤

The Spring Dance was a night to remember! 🎶 Everyone showed up ready to dance, laugh, and celebrate the end of the school year with friends.

🎓 This spring, our 8th grade students had the amazing opportunity to visit several colleges—South Dakota State, University of South Dakota, Dakota State University, and Augustana University! Each campus offered a unique experience, helping students explore what their futures could look like. A big THANK YOU to Promising Futures for making these unforgettable visits possible! 💙✨

⚽ Don’t miss the last soccer game of the season this Tuesday! 🎟️ Spring Dance tickets will be on sale during Protime Monday for just $3! The dance is Tuesday after school! 🌱 Garden Club meets Thursday to plant the garden! 🎶 Wrap up the week with Ensembles Night on Friday.

🏃‍♂️ Huge shoutout to our 7th and 8th grade boys 4x100 relay teams for qualifying and competing at the Howard Wood Relays! Both teams crushed it and represented McGovern well! 👏

🧠 7th grade science students had some special guests from the Neuroscience Club at Augustana University! They shared their college experiences, taught us all about the nervous system, and led a fun brain hat activity. Learning has never looked so smart (or stylish)! 🧠

As the school year winds down, our 8th graders took an exciting step toward their next chapter: visiting their future high school! 🎓 They explored the campus, connected with current students, and got a glimpse of what freshman year has in store.
