🎤 The Expressions Show Choir at GMMS has been hard at work learning new choreography for this year’s show — and it’s looking amazing!
We were lucky to have guest choreographer Mark Quamme, who also choreographs for Jefferson, come in and share his talent and energy with our students. Big thanks to Mark for helping us take it to the next level! 💜🎶

🎶 Last Friday, our 8th grade band students had an awesome opportunity to play with the Marching Cavaliers as part of the Pep Band!
They joined in on the excitement, performed the Jefferson High School fight song, and got a front-row seat to the halftime show during the seniors' final game. What an unforgettable night of music, school spirit, and memories! 🎵

🏃That’s a wrap on an amazing cross country season! Every single athlete showed incredible growth and dedication. We’re so proud of the hard work, perseverance, and team spirit that defined this season. Way to finish strong! 💜

🌿 Our 8th grade biologists explored photosynthesis in action! Using carbon dioxide detectors and spinach leaves, they measured CO₂ levels with and without light to see how light affects this essential process. 💡🍃

Our 8th graders had an exciting afternoon at the Washington Pavilion exploring all things engineering with SDSU! 🛠️🔬 From hands-on activities to a Cinedome movie experience, students got a glimpse into the world of engineering and what SDSU has to offer. Huge thanks to SDSU and Promising Futures for this amazing opportunity to inspire future innovators!

6th grade ELA students put their teamwork skills to the test! 📚🤝 Using the story they’re reading in class, they worked together to place each part of the plot where it belongs.

Show Choir is back and better than ever! 🎶 62 talented members kicked off the season last week, and they’re ready to shine! 💃🕺 Let the music (and the excitement) begin!
